So I am newly deaf due to a medical condition. So having to deal with new people or handling new business is a stressful thing for me. When I first arrived at the dealership I was greeted by a young gentleman. I told him about my situation. He pointed to a Service Advisor. Low and behold thankfully that Service Advisor from the very first interaction with him put me at ease and I felt a weight lifted off my shoulders. The Service Advisor by the name of David was awesome and amazing. He took the time dealing with me and even wrote out pretty much everything including on my work order he drew lines and what he wanted initial and signed. He even took me to the waiting area. Afterwards when my car was almost done he came sat down and already had his clipboard and notepad with information and questions on it. Then I asked him about if this Serpentine location had a collision center. He shook his head no and wrote on the notepad that they have one they use in Euclid. So he wrote he was going to go finish up paperwork and he will be back for me. David comes back NOT only with my papers and circled what was done and showed me the total. He also gave me a business card for the outside collision center used and wrote on his notepad that he had called a gentleman over at the collision center and let him know about my situation and to be on the lookout for me. To me David went above and beyond his duties to help a customer who has a disability. It also shows what great character he has and says a lot about him. Great Awesome Amazing customer service provided. I will return to this dealership only because of my experience with David and I hope that each time I will be able to work with him. A lot of businesses do NO teach their employees how to deal with deaf people. People automatically know when someone is HoH then they speak louder. That's NOT the case with a deaf person. So I find people just don't know what to do or just do NOT wanna take the time to do a little extra work to communicate. David was willing to take that extra time with me. For that he needs to be thanked and given acknowledgment for a wonderful customer service experience he provided.
